Meet Our Team of Experts | Mountain Home Stove & Fireplace

Wolf Bennett, Co-Owner and Quality Assurance Guru

Keeping Yampa Valley warm since 2002, he’s finally found the only way to keep half the town from calling him on Christmas Eve when their stove won’t turn on…go on a hut trip! He’s been coaching SSWSC U8+ skiers as long as he’s had the business and knows more than a thing or two about fire. His current focus is supporting our installation and service technicians in doing all the right things, and keeping his glider in the air.
Jackie Buratovich, Co-Owner and General Manager (HR, Purchasing, AP, AR, EI EI OO)

Born to immigrant grape farmers in central California, Jackie escaped the hot flat valley with a Solar Engineering degree and a deep distrust of big cities. Late afternoons during our busiest season will find her herding middle school cats, aka Nordic skiers, all over Howelsen Hill or maybe teaching a yoga class or two. Have to feed the sanity meter somehow.

Matt Henline: Sales Manager

Matt hails from Ohio, but the mountains called, and he listened. An avid cyclist, Matt has lights for evening rides and season-specific wheels for his stable of bicycles.  Late summer afternoons will find him and Pickle, the mostly-husky pup, swimming in the Yampa.
Kimberly Peyton: Service Manager

Originally from Simonton Texas, Kimberly now proudly calls the high country her forever home. She’s a force of nature and customer service is her super power. A dog whisperer in her spare time, Kimberly has totally spoiled all the office canines as well as humans with her sweet compassionate demeanor.

Courtney Christiansen: Service Manager

Courtney came to us from the HVAC industry and figured that climbing around on ladders and ductwork wasn’t much different than climbing around in chases and hearth venting and she’s turned out to be a capable and talented service technician.  Her passions include hiking with her dogs and partner, floating rivers, and taking on increasingly complex craft projects.

Josh Peaslee: Sweep/ Pellet Tech

Josh is a young soul who is always up for a good laugh! He is our resident pellet and wood expert and is a Certified Chimney Sweep and Chimney Professional. If he is not elbow deep in a fireplace, Josh can be found ripping fresh powder, camping with his wife, or watching his beloved Denver Broncos.

Elliot Mowris: Field Tech

Elliot is from Erie PA, moving here two years ago because the mountains were calling and he couldn’t resist. Elliot is a huge outdoors guy and loves hunting, fishing, snowboarding, hiking, camping and everything else Routt County has to offer that gets him outside and exploring. If he isn’t working, you can find him and his gal Kyra soaking up family time, or on NFL Sundays he’ll be watching the Cleveland Browns.

Trey Gallegos, Field Technician

If it moves in the woods, Trey will hunt it! A key partner in the family guide business, Trey can be a little sparce during the fall hunting season. He’s talented and thorough and we’re happy to have his help when he’s not showing people where to look for game.

Cameron Marshall, Warehouser

Immediately after joining us, Cameron became a new dad!  Toddler antics feature large in his day-to-day life.  Cam is organized and remembers where things are stored. He’s increased our efficiency and ability to get out the door most days.

Moki the Office Mascot

Self-proclaimed harmless Greater and connoisseur of all things round and bouncy. With an embarrassing habit of goosing humans in the crotch, most people grin at his welcoming energy. “Back to your crate, Night-night” will generally send him back to snoring under Jackie’s desk.
