As the clock winds down on 2021, we’re taking a moment to reflect on a year filled with triumphs and accomplishments. To celebrate, we’re raising a toast to some of the highlights that made this year such a successful one.
From growing our Mountain Home family to supporting our community, we’re immensely grateful to our loyal customers and the opportunities that came our way this year.
Growing Our ‘Family’
The Mountain Home team is small, but mighty. This year, we celebrated some exciting milestones, with Michael Burns and Josh Peaslee reaching 3+ years with us. Elliot Mowris has also been part of our thriving team for 16 months!
The loyalty and dedication of our staff truly fills us with joy, as we continuously strive to create a culture rooted in support and collaboration.
We are also very excited to welcome on board Kimberly Peyton, our Service Manager Extraordinaire. She’s truly a superhero and a delight to be around. Give us a call and you’ll have the joy of talking with her!
In 2021, we continued our mission to invest in the well-being and success of our wonderful staff by expanding our growing list of benefits to include health insurance.

Providing Essential Services
As the pandemic continued through another year, we at Mountain Home were considered an essential business. We were happy to continue keeping Yampa Valley warm throughout this tough time, and are celebrating another year of working safely to protect our staff and customers. We are happy to report that our staff has stayed safe and healthy!
Supporting Our Community
We love calling the Yampa Valley home, and supporting our community in a variety of ways is dear to our hearts. It’s not just about “giving back.” It’s about knowing our neighbors and being an interwoven piece of this valley. You all are what make it special, so thank you.
This year we participated in the 24 hour ‘Boat Cruise to raise funds for Integrated Communities, a non-profit that supports integration of immigrant and refugee families with our local communities through services and education. The 10.3 mile cruise raised over $22,000, surpassing the goal for the event.
It’s such a blessing to be a part of this event and to see the outpouring of warmth and support from our community. We are extremely grateful to anyone who donated or participated in the event, and hope you’ll consider joining us next year!
In addition, we are proud to support victims and survivors of abuse and assault by donating an electric fireplace to the Advocates of Routt County office this year. If we can provide any amount of warmth and comfort to their community, it is a service we gladly render.
And for the love of our beautiful valley we continue to support the Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club, encouraging discovery and participation in outdoor sports.
Continuing into 2022
Overall, 2021 was a wonderful year for us. Our business is flourishing and we are excited to fill new positions and bring more of our community into our family.
