Gas Inserts

An effective, affordable way to address an inefficient wood-burning fireplace and make it more functional and cost-effective to operate is by installing a gas fireplace insert. “Inserts” are installed into non-combustible (former wood-burning masonry) spaces. An insert consists of a fire box with a gas burner (natural gas or propane) that creates beautiful warming flames. Inserts can be finished with various decorative or simple fronts and linings. They usually require installation of a metal “surround” that covers the space between the insert itself and the old fireplace.

Mountain Home Stove & Fireplace offers a variety of high-quality and affordable fireplace inserts to convert your current fireplace into a unit you can use and enjoy for many years to come. Click on a logo below to go to the websites of the insert manufacturers whose product we offer.
